Best known as a patriot during the Revolution, Paul Revere was a man of many talents. Silversmith, engraver, and early industrialist, Revere ranks among the most entrepreneurial of early Americans. This lecture focuses on Paul Revere’s career as a silversmith, including his most im- portant commission, the Paine Silver Service, one of the Worcester Art Museum’s greatest treasures.
