Dan Clark “The Singing Trooper”
Trooper Dan returns to Southgate! Dan Clark, also known as “The Singing Trooper” has performed in uniform while representing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts during his 20 year career. During his tenure with the State Police he performed at more than 2,500 events for Federal, State, Local, and Military functions. Tonight’s show will feature patriotic favorites.

Men’s Breakfast
The Men’s Breakfast Club welcomes Dr. Aaron Remenschneider. Dr. Remenschneider MD MPH is a practicing surgeon/scientist with a research appointment as an Investigator within the Eaton Peabody Laboratory at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and a clinical appointment as the Otologist/Neurotologist at the UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA. He is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at UMASS Medical School, where he serves as Director of the Hearing Implant Program and Medical Director of Audiology. His presentation will focus on how hearing loss occurs, how medical professionals diagnose hearing loss and will provide a broad overview of hearing rehabilitative options now available to patients. He will also discuss research into novel therapies for hearing loss that will hopefully be available soon.

Worcester Schubertiade Summer Sings at Southgate
What is a Schubertiade? During Schubert’s lifetime, it was an intimate gathering of friends in a private home which featured Schubert’s music, poetry readings, dance and other sociable pastimes. Today, under the guidance of Executive Director Stanley Wilson and Artistic Director Sondra Kelly Worcester Schubertiade’s mission is to present accessible live performances of vocal and instrumental classical music in an intimate setting. Southgate is pleased to host this open to the public event throughout June featuring extraordinary singers from Boston, Metro-west and Worcester. The program schedule is as follows:
June 7th – Love and the Triangle – Opera Arias
June 14th – Death and Murder – Opera Arias
June 21st – Songs from Operettas
June 28th – Musical Theatre NightALL residents are welcome to join us each Thursday night for these 4 delightful “Summer Sings”.

Jeanne Drumm Academy of Music Student Recital
Dr. Drumm’s music school specializes in individualized instruction in piano, violin, viola and voice in a fun, rigorous and supportive atmosphere. Her students are leaders: in their orchestras; choirs; bands; youth music groups; and the community. Welcome these young musicians to Southgate.
