Join Resident Helena Leet-Pellegrini, professional storyteller, as we share stories to have fun, connect, inspire and keep growing. No experience necessary or expected. Why do people tell stories? What makes them engaging, entertaining and meaningful? Come join us! Whether as teller of listener, everyone is a welcome participant!

Instructor Amy Wensink attended Oberlin College and Conservatory, earning a bachelor’s degree in cello performance and a bachelor’s degree in biology. She went on to receive her master’s degree in cello performance from The Cleveland Institute of Music and a master’s degree in ecology from Rice University. Residents are welcome to join the family recital courtesy of Amy’s students.

Cellist Elizabeth Bronstein studied cello with Yuan Tung, Gabor Rejto, and Bernard Greenhouse earning her Bachelor of Music Degree at the St. Louis Conservatory and her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Performance at SUNY, Stony Brook. She performed for 10 years as the cellist in the trio “Aequalis”, with over 50 concerts per season throughout the United States, including solo appearances with the Phoenix Symphony, and Honolulu Symphony, among others. Our friend Pianist, organist and conductor Malcolm Halliday returns to Southgate this evening. Malcolm has performed in the United States and Europe, both as a soloist, conductor, and in collaboration with singers, instrumentalists, and orchestra. Malcolm recently “retired” and currently lives part of the year in San Miguel de Allende in Guanajuato, Mexico.
