Southgate Art Gallery Reception
Our next exhibit features work from Master Pen- man John DeCollibus. With over forty years of experience in Ornamental Penmanship and Off- hand Flourishing, Master Penman John DeColli- bus uses elegant flourishes and attention to detail to bring his vision to life through specialized engraving. The beauty, splendor, and heritage of 19th century American Penmanship is illuminated by John’s signature style. Since 1978, John has taught hundreds of aspiring penman through private lessons, classes and workshops, and at international conventions. While John still offers private lessons in his studio, he no longer travels beyond New England to teach. However, due to the numerous requests in lieu of traveling, John has created his first on line, interactive penmanship course in his Madarasz Script! Join us for a wine and cheese reception with music by pianist Richard Hughes.
