Residents Event Calendar

Our presenter this month is Senior Reporter, Sports Division for the Worcester Telegram and Gazette, Bill Ballou. His topic will be “The Blackstone Canal – A Hike through History”. Bill has been with the “T&G” since 1985, covering Worcester AHL Hockey from 1994-2015 and the Boston Red Sox from 1987 to the present day. His adventures have included canoeing the Blackstone River, Worcester to Cumberland, RI in 1978 and the original Blackstone Canal Hike in 1986 which serves as his focus of conversation this morning. The mark of a true sports enthusiast, Bill married his wife Debbie on Oct. 11, 1975- the first game of the Red Sox-Reds World Series!
