Patty Carver salutes Judy Garland!
Our friend Patty is back! Patty is a professional singer, actress and writer with international credits. She has performed in NYC, LA and London and has been seen across the country in Regional, Stock and Dinner Theatre. She is co-founder and Artistic Director of the professional national touring company Connecticut Children’s Theatre and has written over 40 original musicals featuring the talents of great performers such as Bea Arthur, Ernest Borgnine and Brigitte Bardot. Tonight she brings us a tribute show in honor of the great Judy Garland!

Men's Breakfast Club
Our Men’s Breakfast Club welcomes John LuKach certified counselor from the SHINE organization to speak with us on Medicare Insurance Updates as well as other SHINE related topics of interest. For those unfamiliar with the acronym, SHINE stands for “Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone”. SHINE provides FREE unbiased health insurance counseling information and assistance to Massachusetts residents with Medicare, their caregivers and those approaching Medicare eligibility. SHINE is administered by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elders Affairs under a grant from the Administration for Community Living. All are welcome to join us for the presentation.

"The Road to WWII" Lecture Series
Instructor Leo Sullivan will present a 4 session course which chronicles the rise of Hitler and other dictators. The onset of war in Europe and America’s internal debate over whether to get involved is examined followed by the run-up to Pearl Harbor and the first 6 months of our involvement. June 6th marks the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion. The 4th session will be a detailed look at that amazing achievement. Leo Sullivan holds a Master’s degree in American History from the Univ. of Notre Dame.
