Southgate at Shrewsbury opens its art gallery this afternoon featuring works by Fiber Artist and resident Joanne Weitgrefe. Please join us for a wine and cheese reception in the library to commemorate the occasion. Joanne’s original and uniquely designed quilts will be on display for several weeks for residents and guests to enjoy.

Making her Southgate debut Linda has been singing professionally since the early seventies, first in coffee houses, then in jazz rock bands. Further exploring her love of mainstream jazz and swing, she formed The Tiffany Jazz Quintet which played throughout New England in clubs, at concerts and jazz festivals and on television. In 1984 she formed the Dagnello Jazz Quintet. Linda’s jazz vocal experience includes everything from duos to big bands, but her main focus remains with her quintet. A true love of standards, she was influenced by many but works hard to recreate each song in her own voice. Join us for true jazz on the Southgate stage this evening.
