Ed Cotter Presentation-Animals of Southern Africa: A Slide Show
Southgate resident Ed Cotter will present pictures of animals of southern Africa, featuring Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and Etosha National Park in Namibia. Many wild animals will be shown, including those called “the Big Five” (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, Cape buffalo).

Carleton Kendrick Lecture: “Rethinking Narcissism”
This character trait has been employed with far more frequency in recent years. Is narcissism so widespread and/or increasing in our culture? Is there such a character trait as “healthy narcissism?” We’ll discuss these questions fully and explore the many faces of narcissism.

Men’s Breakfast Club
Our presenter this month is Senior Reporter, Sports Division for the Worcester Telegram and Gazette, Bill Ballou. His topic will be “The Blackstone Canal – A Hike through History”. Bill has been with the “T&G” since 1985, covering Worcester AHL Hockey from 1994-2015 and the Boston Red Sox from 1987 to the present day. His adventures have included canoeing the Blackstone River, Worcester to Cumberland, RI in 1978 and the original Blackstone Canal Hike in 1986 which serves as his focus of conversation this morning. The mark of a true sports enthusiast, Bill married his wife Debbie on Oct. 11, 1975- the first game of the Red Sox-Reds World Series! All are welcome to join us for Bill’s presentation at 9:30 am in the dining room.
