“Becoming Dr. Ruth” is a charming tour de-force written by Mark St. German and starring Alice Springer as iconic sex therapist radio personality Dr. Ruth K. Westheimer. To a multitude of radio and television admirers she became known simply as “Dr Ruth,” and her diminutive stature and thick, European blend of an accent made her an instant media caricature of herself, often imitated by many throughout her years of peak popularity. However, in this intimate one woman show, Springer tries less to imitate the personality and instead tries more to relate to the audience St.
Germain’s study of the doctor’s life and her unusual meteoric rise to fame.

Kevin has mastered the wonderful lilting soul-soothing melodies of the Celtic tradition and is proficient on 12 different instruments. During a year when they lived in Ireland, Southgate residents Jackie and Ed Cotter visited and photographed many historical buildings, monuments, and ruins throughout the Irish Republic.

Miller Orchestra the Tommy Dorsey and Hal McIntyre Orchestras, and is considered an expert on the big band era. He graduated with a Masters Degree in 2014 from New England Conservatory of Music, and is an active trombonist, arranger, bandleader, and teacher in the greater Boston music scene. The band features vocalist Elise Roth, who encapsulates the look and sound of the big
