Carleton Kendrick presents “Telling Memories.” Jewish asylum seekers from the Soviet Union tell inconsistent stories. What does this say about the nature of memory? Should we trust our memories and the oral histories of others? Profound questions to explore! Carleton Kendrick has been in private practice as a family therapist and has worked as a consultant for more than 20 years.

Women’s Circle
“Climate change and Our National Parks” is the topic for our March 8 Women’s Circle Breakfast. Our speaker is Chuck Arning, an Interpretive Park Ranger/AV Specialist for the National Park Service in the Blackstone River Valley. Ranger Arning will discuss the significance of the impact of our changing climate on our national parks as he talks about the interrelationship between our changing climate, our immediate environment, and our historic sites. Ranger Arning has produced over 100 television videos focusing on history and culture, preservation, and oral histories of Blackstone Valley residents. He produces, writes, and hosts “Along the Blackstone,” which has aired on the History Channel and is the recipient of many national awards.
