Trip to Worcester Art Museum
Tour of “Radiance Rediscovered: Stained Glass by Tiffany & LaFarge”.
This exhibition will feature 2 sets of exquisite memorial windows made by the 19th century’s most recognized innovators of American stained glass: John La Farge and Louis Comfort Tiffany. Originally made for Boston’s Mount Vernon Congregational Church in 1898 and 1899, the windows were transferred to the Museum in 1975, where they had been relegated to storage for more than 40 years. This exhibition will feature the carefully conserved windows alongside La Farge’s experimental cloisonné glasswork in order to highlight the artists’ design methods and aesthetic influences. Previous registration required. - 2323.July.MondayNo events

Stephen Collins presents “Unlaunch’d Voices: An Evening with Walt Whitman”
Since the late 1990’s, Stephen Collin’s one man show performances have captured the attention of audiences young and old. It is not just the stunning resemblance to Walt Whitman himself, which many reviews notice, but the portrayal of the character and the essence that he brings within arm’s reach that makes the poet come to life. It is not surprising that in some reviews, the writer switches Collins’ name and Whitman’s interchangeably. Be sure to join us for an evening with one of America’s most celebrated poets.
