Members of the Southgate Book Group may check out a copy of “A Gentleman in Moscow” by Amor Towles between the hours of 1-3 pm on Aug. 6th or Aug. 9th in the program office. This is the featured selection for the Sept. meeting discussion. A program dept. staff member is required to check out the book and will be happy to help you at that time.

Remember the early years of rock n’ roll when there was a melody and words you could understand? Like “Dream Lover” and “Run Around Sue”? Take the journey back with us tonight as Southgate welcomes these talented musicians who have performed with such notables as the Beach Boys, Bill Haley’s Comets, and Chubby Checker just to name a few.

Fronting several Cape Cod bands in the late 1970’s and early-1980’s and, after settling down in Worcester, MA in 1984, Bill McCarthy has been a popular performer around Worcester County, Boston Metro West, and Cape Cod for over thirty-five years.
